Adapted from The Princess and The Pea
by Hans Christian Andersen
There was once Boy, who was very lonely. He had this super wild dream of marrying a Princess. So one day, he set off on a quest. To make friends with Princesses all over the world. He travelled far and wide, past the fearsomely slow Friendster, through the treacherous Tagged and hopped past the Big Bad Blogger. He was looking for a real Princess. But he could not find one. So he logged off, and he was very sad because he wanted a Princess so badly.
One evening, there was the night of the Cyber Storm. Internet connection were very bad, and torrent downloads were very slow; it was indeed a fearful night.
In the middle of the Cyber Storm, somebody knocked at the Boy's door, and he himself went to open it.
It was a Princess who stood outside, but she looked terrible as she had suffered a bad state of Internet connection. She was drenched in sweat from head to toe.
"Can I borrow your Internet connection please?" the Princess said softly.
The Boy, who was a master of hacking n powerful Internet connection, felt obliged to just let this beautiful maiden to use his computer.
"We shall soon find out if she is a real Princess," he thought.
He went into his study room, removed the cushion on his comfortable computer seat, placed a microchip underneath, before replacing the cushion with twenty more and twenty feather pillows. This was where the Princess sat, blogging about her favourite things the whole night long. In the morning, the Boy asked the Princess how was her blogging experience on his computer.
"Oh terribly bad!" said the Princess. "I have hardly placed my fingers on the keyboard the whole night! Heaven knows what was in that computer seat. I seemed to be sitting down upon some hard thing, and my whole body is black and blue this morning. It is terrible!"
The Boy saw at once that she must be a real Princess when she had felt the microchip through twenty cushions and twenty feather pillows. Nobody but a real Princess could have such a delicate skin.
So the Boy took her to be his wife, for he was sure he had found a real Princess, and the microchip was put into the Computer History Museum, where it may still be seen if noone has stolen it.
the end
